What to check after a Japan phone contract is rejected

Do not treat every failed application as the same “screening” problem. Separate identity verification, payment, contract screening, and address or delivery. The useful next provider depends on where the application actually stopped.

Save the exact on-screen message and email. Ask whether the provider rejected the document, the payment method or the contract. Repeating the same application without correcting the cause can produce the same result.

A line that can be opened but is difficult to recharge or keep is not automatically the cheapest solution. Compare the complete 3-, 6- or 12-month cost using the price displayed on the day you apply.
